กรุงเทพฯ 8 ก.พ.55 – “ปลอดประสพ” รมว.วิทยาศาสตร์ฯ มั่นใจจัดหาพื้นที่แก้มลิงพักน้ำ 2 ล้านไร่ได้โดยเร็ว และน้ำท่วมปีนี้จะรุนแรงน้อยกว่าปีที่แล้ว ระดับน้ำจะไม่สูงและท่วมระยะสั้น ขอให้กรมชลฯ พร่องน้ำในเขื่อนสม่ำเสมอ เพื่อรับน้ำฝนได้ถึง 1 หมื่นล้าน ลบ.ม.

The high level climate talk that just ended in Koenigswinter, West Germany yesterday was hailed as an ice-breaking event. I wonder what was the carbon footprints this event generated to just "break the ice", supposed to pave a way to Cancun talk in November.

This, however, is a necessary step to ensure that UN climate talk remains on track, and continued to be supported.
